Why did I write the Potential of Zero?
Have you ever heard the phrase: You've have so much potential or You're wasting your potential? I've heard it my whole life and it wasn't until I had a dream one night that I truly realized what it meant. Later I decided to turn that concept into a book and share it with others like myself.
The Dream.
Late one night, as I slept, I heard a voice in my head say: "What would you do if you had no potential? If all the potential you have was gone?"
I thought, how unfair this would be and I became very angry. I replied "I'd fight. I'd struggle and I'll still get what I want with or without my potential."
"Then why don't you do that now?" the voice retorted.
As I thought about this I realized I could use this concept but I was too tired to think any more. In a whisper I heard "You have a potential of zero."
I knew this was too important too ignore but couldn't wrap my head around the concept just then. Dragging myself groggily to the mirrored closet doors that doubled as my "white board" I wrote "Potential of Zero" and went back to bed.
The Book.
The book is comprised of mini chapters called constructs. Each one is a nugget of an idea. For all those who know me I use anecdotes to explain the concepts, just like I do when I'm speaking. Jumping around from popular literature to Saturday morning cartoons I use these parables to illustrate the concepts. The book is short and sweet to facilitate reading. I'm feel really blessed to be able to share this book and I hope that everyone enjoys reading it as much as I do.
